Due to Hurricane Ian our lodge has been totally destroyed. We are in the process of demolishing the remains of the building and designing a new, better lodge to service our members and the communities of Greater Pine Island.
Please bear with us as we re-build.
Many of our events will be held at the VFW Post 4353 or other locations on the island.

ELKS CARE - ELKS SHARE

Are YOU an Elk? Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a clubhouse for its members. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up. Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, meet the needs of today’s veterans, and improve the quality of life.
• The Greater Pine Island Elks Lodge # 2781 has a long history of community involvement. Of all the things Elks do, perhaps nothing is more important than the work they do to help the youth of our country. The Elks Hoop Shoot is the largest co-educational sports program in America.
• Drug Awareness Programs. We are committed to building a better future for our youth by providing alternatives to drugs. We distribute literature free of charge to schools. Our state organization has a Drug Awareness trailer that travels around the state visiting fairs and festivals and handing out literature and promotional items.
• In addition, each state Elks association has a major project. Our Florida project sponsors a youth camp. The camp is available for any individual aged 9 to 13. This program is free of charge to participants, who need financial assistance.
• The Elks have always demonstrated compassion for our Veterans. We treat them with respect and hold them in highest esteem. Our pledge: "So long as there are Veterans, the BPOE will never forget them." The Greater Pine Island Elks organization certainly does its part. Caring for our vets is something every Elk member is proud of.
• We Elks are active in all of these charitable and civic endeavors, but we also have great fellowship and FUN! Check us out. Contact one of our local members if you are interested in joining us in making our community and our world a better place.
